Air Zimbabwe Cargo – Delivering with Care
At Air Zimbabwe Cargo, we move more than shipments — we move what matters most. From live animals to pharmaceuticals, medicaments, dangerous goods (in line with IATA standards), and valuable consignments, every piece of cargo is handled with precision and care.
Our legacy of service goes beyond logistics. In 2020, we stood by our nation, repatriating 132 citizens from China during the COVID‑19 lockdown. By 2021, we proudly delivered 1.2 million doses of Sinopharm vaccines and essential supplies, ensuring Zimbabwe had the resources to protect its people.
Today, we continue to provide reliable, global air freight solutions that are safe, efficient, and built on trust. With Air Zimbabwe Cargo, your shipment isn’t just transported — it’s safeguarded, every step of the way.
There are two types of cargo; Special and General Cargo.
1. Special Cargo items include:
Dangerous goods, live animals, perishable cargo, wet cargo, time and temperature sensitive products, (human remains, pharmaceuticals and medicaments) among others.
2. General Cargo items include:
Items that do not require any extra precautions or special handling during air transport. These types of items are retail and most consumer goods (with the exception of mobile phones, tablets and laptops), dry goods, hardware, textiles, and more.
The cargo acceptance, warehousing, loading and unloading functions are contractually outsourced to local handling agents in Zimbabwe and Foreign Service providers at our regional destinations. Highly trained personnel both on ground and in air ensure the cargo ‘type’ complies with required standards for safe and secure transportation.
